Wine Tasting: To Spit or Not To Spit

Even if you have never attended a wine tasting event, it’s almost certain that you have seen images of otherwise classy looking individuals spitting their vino into a bucket. It may seem at odds with the tone of the event, but in wine tasting circles, it is something that is very much an accepted part of the whole routine. To take it one step further, it is not that surprising to find wine makers who will spit their wines straight on to the cellar floor. That is not something that I recommend for a home event, however, it is still a good idea to supply spit buckets for the guests.
